The purpose of the Bike point d.o.o. -a is only to help users to get information they need about the services offered by Bike point through descriptions and pictures, to check free rental dates and to make a reservation and payment. We warn you that in order to carry out transactions through our website, you must be of legal age and that you hereby accept financial responsibility for transactions carried out by you personally or minors living in your household. You are responsible for supervising minors who use your information here, and for the truthfulness and accuracy of the information you provide to us for the implementation of a reservation or financial transaction. In case of any misuse of this site (registration of a false reservation, etc.), you will be denied access to our site.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Vehicle rental and useage
Person using services provided by Bike Point d.o.o. in further text referred to as lessee.
Bike Point d.o.o. and all its representing personnel referred as lesser in further text.
Lessee is required to provide a valid identification or a copy of a valid identification at the moment of renting which will be kept until the end of renting period.
Lesser refuses to rent a vehicle to person under 16 years of age. Person over 16 years of age is required in this case and him/her is responsible for the actions and any damage of equipment by underage lesser.
Person younger than 16 year of age is required by law to wear a bicycle helmet when riding unless there is a parental agreement confirming otherwise.
The rented vehicle, accessories and additional equipment are in impeccable technical condition when given to the lessee and must be returned to the lesser at the expiry of this contract in the same condition.
The usage of the vehicle outside the designated paths is not allowed. Any damages, loss or theft will be charged to the lessee. The company does not accept any liability.
Removing the vehicle from the islands (Lošinj, Cres) in which this contract is made, without the explicit and written permission of the lesser is not allowed.
Driving the vehicle in a dangerous manner or under the influence of any substance or illness which could impair the psychological and physical state or reflexes of the driver is strictly forbidden.
Fines arising from traffic or parking violations are to be paid by the lessee himself/herself. In connection with this the lessee is reminded that the wearing of a helmet is compulsory under 16 years of age!
Any damages or injuries which shall occur by or to the rented vehicle, and also which cannot be clearly attributed to the responsibility of a particular party shall be charged to the lessee.
We treat the information you provide us with caution, in order to provide the requested service. The data provided will be kept as long as the commercial relationship is maintained or during the years necessary to comply with the legal obligations. The data will not be transferred to third parties except in cases where there is a legal obligation. You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we are treating your personal data, therefore you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data or request its deletion when the data is no longer necessary. We may request personal information which with your acceptance will be used to improve out services, statistics and maintain commercial relationships.
